Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Masala dosa:

  1. 2-3 Potatoes
  2. 1 tomato
  3. 1 onion
  4. 1 ginger chopped
  5. as per taste Salt,
  6. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 4-5 ,curry leaves,
  8. 2 green chillies chopped
  9. 1tbsp Coconut oil
  10. 1tsp each, mustard and cumin seeds
  11. as per required water
  12. Dosa batter
  13. 4:1 raw rice
  14. as per required ,whole urad dal soaked for 5 hrs.,
  15. 1tbsp methi seeds
  16. as per required Salt,water

Steps to make to make Masala dosa

  1. For preparing dosa grind d the above-mentioned ingredients together to make a batter consistency.
    Add salt and ferment the batter for 12 hrs.
    Next day morning superb dosa batter is ready to be used.
  2. For masala in a kadai pour coconut oil, add mustard and cumin seeds,then ginger,curry leaves and chillies
    Add the chopped vegetables.
  3. Now mix them all for s minute.
    Add turmeric powder and salt. Mox them.agsin nicely.
    Now add sufficient water to cook.
    Cover and cook for 10min.
  4. Masala is ready. Now make a nice paper dosa on the tawa and spread preferably gingely oil on all the sides.
    Here I'm using mother's iron tawa which is considered to be best for dosa.
    And then put some masala in thf centre of dosa fold,remove and serve hot either like that or with coconut chutney or sambar.
